Gorgeous crepe myrtle photos…ours look so sad from the drought that I haven’t tried to capture them yet. But you’ve inspired me to at least try!

Thank you, tho’ I take no responsibility for their beauty. When we moved in last winter, they were hacked to the ground & all I’ve done since they came back is try to hold the powdery mildew at bay.

We had some black mold on our crepes…yuck. I think all the rain from last
year brought that about. What’s that old saying, “chicken today, feathers
tomorrow?” Too true with regard to our Central Texas rain. My husband had to
scrub it off, but it seems to have worked for now.
