Peach Blackberry Cobbler
with local peaches from the farmers market this week– oh my!
It’s from the Happy Vegan Baker and if you haven’t had her goodies yet, then go get some as soon as possible!
The woman who is the Happy Vegan Baker does amazingly moist , sweet, flavorful delights of pure goodness & is a total sweetie as well.
I cannot rave about her stuff long or loud enough.
Rockin’ desserts!

Looks delish! With this kind of dessert, my fave part is the crunchy and juicy near the tin’s edge. OMG, YUM!
Speaking of local companies, have you checked out Greenling yet? Just found out that they deliver here and feature local stuff. I know they’ve been working in Austin…can’t find anyone who has used them yet…maybe you know someone?
Also, just found Texas Locavore blog, which looks cool.

Funny you should ask…
I’ve been using Greenling since they started. Great folks– wonderful friendly people & great local food. I can’t praise the service highly enough.
I moderate the Greenling Flickr group here:

Beth of Texas Locavore also runs a blog describing what she cooks/ makes each week with Greenling’s local box.
& I love having peoples’ gravitars on the site– nice to put icons with names
