Garden Girl is no more
long live Garden Girl… er something.
Sooooo… I’ve been made aware that A) There are a lot of Garden Girl domains & some of them are getting pretty big (like the awesome GardenGirlTV) and B) hardly anyone can remember my .name domain designation as it’s just too weird :p
With this in mind, I’ve moved this blog to a new domain & I hope those of you who have been visiting me here will keep on visiting there (or update your bookmarked feeds or email subscriptions to my new pad).
I really do appreciate all you who read & take the time to comment and I don’t want to lose any of you, so I’ll leave this blog up here for a while with this notice on it.
My new blog is already up & ready for action at:
& I’ll do my best to bring the the punk ethic of DIY, and being mad creative while having more fun than the law allows to my garden.
See ya on the other side- GardenGirl/ Punk Gardener ![]()
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Are you still plagued by Cedar Fever? When I posted this, I thought of you.
Patients with hay fever, asthma, or environmental, drug, and food allergies and sensitivities usually tolerate from between 15 to 50 grams per 24 hours divided in 4 to 12 doses. Occasionally, tolerance is elevated even to higher amounts. There is frequently a dramatic decrease in symptoms just before diarrhea is produced. The individual patient has to be tolerant to oral ascorbic acid to achieve this effect but fully 80% of patients are tolerant enough. I call the process whereby the patient determines an appropriate dose of ascorbic acid, titrating_to_bowel_tolerance.

Nope– almost no allergies of any kind anymore. In my case, I’m almost certain what “cured” my allergies is cutting out almost all dairy except for raw dairy in moderation. There’s a lot of good info online about raw dairy (& esp. raw goat’s milk) & allergies.

How do I get your new blog to manifest on my LJ f-list?
[Reply]
You need to have someone with a paid livejournal account syndicate the feed from punkgardener.
Here’s LJ’s info on doing that:
